I got my Uncle in the US to pay for QuickBooks today, to be used for a business in Nigeria which would be operating in Dollar Currency. I tried setting up the Sales Tax but I don't get an option to use Nigeria tax agency. It keeps showing US related Tax agency cities.

Then, turn on the multicurrency feature. This one is only available in either QBO Essentials or QBO Plus. This will let you track your foreign currency transactions. From here, you can now go to the Taxes page to set up your sales tax agency. You'll be the one to add the Tax name, Description, Tax agency name, Business ID No., Start of current tax period, Filing frequency, Reporting method, and Sales rate from the Taxes tab.

Thanks for the response. But the problem is he has wrongly chosen the US as the country in the process of making payment. He stays in California. But the biz is supposed to be a Nigerian business. And now I can't find any city relating to Africa when I am trying to set up the company's Nigerian address
