Being able to log in and access your QuickBooks Online account is my priority, jonz243.
I've checked our records and found out that the investigation about this has been marked as closed by our engineering team. As a workaround, we can try to reset your password so you can get back into your account.
On the other hand, we can access your account via a private browser or an incognito window. This is to check if it's a browser-related issue or not. This browsing doesn’t store data and will help the page load without issues from temporary data.
Here are the shortcut keyboards:
After that, go back to the sign-in page again. If you're able to log in, it’s a good idea to clear the cache to start on a clean slate. This process helps the browser to fetch the latest version of the webpage and a faster browsing experience.
However, if the issue persists, I recommend reaching our Customer Support Team. This way, we can check your account in a secure environment and investigate further.
You can follow these steps how:

I'm also adding these articles to learn how to resolve common sign-in issues in QBO:
I'm only a few clicks away if you have other concerns about accessing your account QBO. I'm always here to help. Take care!
Really huh! I'm pretty sure that most QB users aren't aware of this atrocity. I am looking for another program but feel it my duty to inform as many QB users just what is going on. Some of us have books on QB that are 20+ years and every time you save your file it updates it so that you can no longer go back and look at it on a previous version. At the bare minimum it should be made a read only file. This is really messed up! Not to mention that they have doubled the price now and you have to pay it every year. This year it is $649. That is just to look at your data if you might have closed your business or retired. MESSED UP!!!
Hi Davidtaos,
Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your feedback with us. I appreciate your concerns and would like to address the points you've raised.
As you've known, QuickBooks Desktop has transitioned to a subscription-based software model, which means that support for previous versions is no longer available. This is a common practice in the software industry, as it allows us to provide the most up-to-date and reliable service to our users.
In regards to the change in price, we do this to reflect the cost of maintaining and upgrading our products. This update is necessary to ensure that we can continue to provide a high-quality, reliable service to our users. Additionally, we strive to regularly add new features and functionality to our products to meet the needs of our users and keep up with changing technology.
We hope this helps to clarify the reasons behind the changes you've noticed. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Hey Jonz and anybody else out there that thinks QB is ......... us, I found another program. AccountEdge, it is similar to QB and doesn't lock you out of your data if you stop your subscription. You will always have access to your file as read only, Which is what QB should do, but won't.
Here is a work around to access your file if it is stored on your computer. Go to your settings and to date and time and manually change the date on your computer to before your subscription ran out. You cannot do this if you are online so make sure that you are offline. Good Luck to all! Except QB!
