Import Bank Query

Hello there, @Vijay13.

After performing Fiat Lux - ASIA suggestion, we can go over the information below.

When uploading bank transactions in QuickBooks using the CSV file, you only need to follow the 3-column or 4-column format. Please review sample format below.

The 3 column format. It has a DateDescription, and Amount column.

The 4 column format. It has a DateDescriptionCredit, and Debit column.

Based on the sample format above, make sure to not include any other details such as currency, payee name, etc. Otherwise, you'll get the same error message.

Once formatted, import them by performing these steps:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Click the Link account drop-down and then Upload from file.
  3. Click Browse or select files, and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Next or Continue.
  4. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Next.
  5. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Next.
  6. Select Yes. Then, Let's go.

Once imported, you'll have to review and/or match them in QuickBooks. This is to make sure your data is accurate. For the step-by-step guide, you can refer to these articles:

Please let me know how these things go. I'm always here whenever you need assistance. Take care and have a good one, Vijay13.
