This is so frustrating. Kotak is not syncing since last 4 months. What are the engineers at QB doing ? Pure lack of agility in product enhancement or customer satisfaction. I am cancelling the subscription. Things like ZohoBooks were much smoother.
Hello,
This method is not working.
I have 16 entity in quickbook and most of kotak bank we used and i have passed manually entry since May'2020.
I am doing manually entry in quickbooks & no one reply my mail from your team.
Could you please help me out this issue
Hi there, @Anuagsigh.
I appreciate you performing the workaround. You can use Web Connect to bring the bank transactions easily into QuickBooks Online.
Though, we can get your transactions by clicking the Update button on the Banking page up to three times. Doing it helps to refresh the connectivity between your bank's website into QuickBooks. Here's how:
For more information about handling bank transactions in QBO, please refer to this article: Categorise and match online bank transactions.
If the issue persists while uploading your bank transactions, I’d recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They also have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and further investigate this issue.
Let me guide you with the steps.
To ensure that you'll be assisted on time, please check out our support hours.

Hey
has this issue been resolved?
Hi Jai Vaswani!
Thanks for joining us here! Let me share some details about Kotak Bank.
Recently, Kotak Bank made an update with their website. The bank uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 authentication that unable our system to log in to their website. While our engineers are still working to re-establish the connection, you'll want to manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
If you previously contacted our Support Team regarding this issue, you'll be notified via email once everything has been resolved.
After you successfully imported the transactions, here's how to categorise and match them.
Reply again if you need more help. Take care!
QB has abandoned many of us after we built us ecosystem around QB and abandoned Tally.
The major pain point today is Broken integration with Kotak
- Manual transaction is not an option. The thread started in Jul2020, its May 2021 and there is still no fix.
It is crazy how a supposedly professional company can get away with this! I have tweeted about this issue on Twitter. Anyone who is interested in getting more eyeballs on this issue, I would strongly recommend retweeting my tweet.
Hi QB Team,
Wouldn't it be better if you removed KOTAK Bank from your list of options, that way we(affected) customers can know that QB doesn't support KOTAK integration, instead of you confusing us and wasting everyones time. Every time an issue is raised, your team provides a workaround instead of resolving the issue. The fact that you have taken almost 1 year to figure out that Google re-Captcha was the problem and you not giving us an ETA for resolution even now is worrisome.
Would request you to expedite fixing this bug, and until then please remove KOTAK Bank from the list of options.
-G
Quickbooks Team
I concur with others, please remove Kotak from your list if it cannot work. Request you to kindly publish list of Banks that work with QB so that we can consider them
Leaving quickbooks is not a simple decision, most of us cannot leave the ecosystem we used for years. But yes if the way things are happening at QB I am sure I will be pushed to return to Tally one day. I am on the verge. They simply do not listen
Any update? Seems QB happy to take our money but not provide what we are paying for -
Let me provide an update about online banking for Katak Mahinda Bank, hodgey.
You're unable to connect Katak Mahinda Bank to QuickBooks after they have added a security service to their website. This is due to fraud and abuse, that's why they aren't ready to white-list QuickBooks Online IP address for Google-captcha authentication.
For now, you can download transactions from the bank using a CSV file. Check out this link to how to check the template: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
Once the file is ready, you can manually import it to QuickBooks.
You need to perform the manual upload until Kotak Mahinda Bank white-lists the QuickBooks Online IP address. No worries, our Engineering Team is working closely with your bank to re-establish the connection and to get things back to normal.
I'm adding these articles if you need a reference in reviewing your transactions and reconciling your account:
Stay in touch with me if there's anything else I can help manage your online banking issues. I'll be right here to provide the information that you need.
Dear QuickBooks Team,
When is this support expected?
Adding Kotak in QuickBooks is still not possible at the moment, RD-CS.
We've been informed by our data provider that this financial institution is currently blocking our data integration requests.
QucikBooks offers another option to bring the transactions into the program. You can import your banking transactions using a CSV file so you can categorize them. You can still use these articles for guidance and references:
Just to add extra references when working with your banking transactions, allow me to share these with you:
Please know that you can always get back here and ask more questions if you need anything else.
