I want to make sure you're able to update your billing information in QuickBooks, @Fi4,
At the moment, we require credit card or debit card payments for QuickBooks Online subscriptions. Accepted cards includes Mastercard, Visa, Discover Card, or American Express.
Before we start, can I ask what error message are you getting when trying to update your billing? Any information will help me assess the situation and provide the appropriate resolution to your concern.
In the meantime, if you have a problem with the billing page not letting you update any information, you can try using a different browser. You can also use a private window and update the payment there.

If the update goes through, clear the cache to resolve the issue in regular browsing.
On the other hand, if the problem is about a declined card, you can use another company card or personal credit card then get reimbursed later.
I'll be adding an article about updating billing information in QBO: Update billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online
Kindly post here again for any additional information or updates about this billing issue. I'll be right here if you need anything else.
