Thanks for dropping this question, jlpandya-gmail-c.

No need to be a certified accountant to become a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. As long as you complete and pass the ProAdvisor training, then you'll be qualified as one.

To help you get started, you can check this reference about QuickBooks ProAdvisor program member guide for brand use. (US article but is applicable to other countries such as India). There are selected countries for international versions that can take the ProAdvisor training and India is one of them.

Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/.
  2. Scroll down and at the bottom of the page, choose your country from the Select a Country drop-down.
  3. Hover your mouse on the Accountants & Bookkeepers tab at the top mid of the page.
  4. You'll see ProAdvisor Portal or Training from the drop-down.
  5. Under Accountants, choose Training & Certification

You can also click on this link to get there: Training Certification.

To learn more about ProAdvisor certification, you can check this out (Articles are made for the US version but can be applied to other countries):

Also, feel free to visit this link where you can gain more tips and articles for future use: Welcome India customers to Global Community.

Be sure to reply to this post f you have additional questions about the process of becoming a ProAdvisor and I'll get back to you. You have a good one.

Any specific concern? Keep in mind, if your clients are using QBO India version, you have to use QBO Accountant India version to support them.

In addition to @Fiat Lux - ASIA answer, I suggest signing up for the ProAdvisor program. This is to help professionals like you, grow your practice while assisting QuickBooks users to manage their businesses.

As mentioned by @Charies_M, make sure to complete and pass the ProAdvisor training to qualify as one. To get started on the program, follow the steps shared above.

You can also contact our QBO Care Team for further assistance. They’ll guide how to get a QuickBooks ProAdvisor account. After signing up, you can start with the training.
