I want to create an android application where I will capture the receipt and then want to upload it on Quickbooks.
QuickBooks Online syncs with hundreds of third-party apps, Bajrang.
You'll have to contact the third-party app support on how the app links with our program. This way, you'll know how to capture and upload the receipts.
Although, if you're unable to link the app, you can enter these receipts manually by creating an expense or a cheque. Here's how:

Thanks for the reply, I am able to link the app and able to upload a document using my third party app but when I upload it, it does not appear at the Receipt tab, I need help from QB's third-party support team but don't know how to contact them.
Can you share a link or any support?
Hello there, bajrang-hudda. Thanks for bumping up in this thread.
I can see that you've linked and uploaded documents through a third-party app. As what colleague suggested above, we'll have to contact the third-party app support team to help us in uploading receipts successfully in QuickBooks Online.
Let me also share with you some information about it. In bringing documents in the Receipt tab, we'll need to manually import them from the banking page. Other than that, we can use the mobile app in capturing receipts. It'll also show without manually adding them.
Here are some articles that you can explore wherein the information can be found:

Thanks @SarahannC ,
I am a developer, and as I mentioned I am not able to upload a file in the receipt tab using QB's REST APIs, might be I am not using the proper endpoint for calling API. So it's a bit technical and I know how to upload receipt by UI (Drag & Drop) and mail.
The question is how to upload a receipt using the REST API?
Thanks for the prompt response, bajrang-hudda.
I want to direct you to the right support that can help you upload a receipt via the REST API.
We have a separate online forum called Intuit Developer Community where you can post this type of question. I suggest reaching out to them as they can provide insights and guide you through the process of uploading receipts.
You can always get back to me for more questions, Take care and have a wonderful day ahead!
Hi @Charies_M ,
But didn't get any response there. Hopefully, someone from your development team will help me.
