Estimate generated through android app is not showing in Sales Transaction screen > Estimates

Hi there, info-3hgroup-gma.

Once an estimate is generated through the app it will show in the Sales Transaction screen via QuickBooks browser.

I suggest checking the Audit Log since the transaction is missing. This way, you're able to see who made changes to your books or if someone from your users deleted the estimate.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right corner.
  2. Under Tools, select Audit Log.
  3. On the Filter menu, choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Select View in the History column to open the audit history. This tells you who made the change and what they did.

For additional information, you can click this article: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

Once verified that no one from your user deleted the transaction and you get the same issue, I recommend using an incognito browser when logging in to your account. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and private browsing doesn't store local files or cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If it works using the private browser, I suggest clearing the cache to your main browser to remove temporary internet files on your computer. For your reference, you may check out this article: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. If not, use another supported browser as an alternative.

Please check this article to see steps on how you can easily turn an estimate into an invoice: Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

Estimate generated through android app is not showing in Sales Transaction screen > Estimates

Actually my estimate is generated but not showing directly on sales transaction > select the "Estimate" button. I need to check it by the customer name.

Thanks for getting back to us, @info-3hgroup-gma.

If you have a lot of sales transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can use the Filter option to only show the estimates. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Sales menu at the left pane to get to the All Sales page.
  2. Click the Filter option, then choose Estimates in the Type drop-down.
  3. Hit Apply to refresh.

The All Sales page gives you a lot of great at-a-glance view of the status of sales transactions. Check out this article for more information: View sales transactions.

However, if you're still unable to see them, I highly suggest logging into your QBO account using a private browser (incognito). You can following the troubleshooting steps shared by my colleague Christie above.

If you want to know how to convert an estimate to invoice, refer to this article: Set up and use estimates.

Please let me know if you have any other issues or concerns by leaving a comment in this thread. I'll be more than happy to answer them. Have a wonderful day!
