Inventory Shrinkage is one of QuickBooks Online's pre-created accounts. It's automatically created once you adjust the quantity on hand on your inventory product.
If you delete or make it inactive, the system will create a new Inventory Shrinkage when you make again an adjustment. That's why we don't recommend deleting this account since QuickBooks uses it to record all the changes or adjustments.
