I would like to check weather qb support e-invoice in Malaysia

Hello, Fauziyana.

Currently, the E-invoice feature is not available in QuickBooks Online Malaysia. In the meantime, you may want to explore third-party apps that cater to E-invoicing. To find the right app, you can utilize specific keywords and look for customer reviews to identify the best fit for your business needs.

To look for an app, here's how:

  1. On your QBO account, click Apps in the left menu.
  2. Go to the Finds Apps tab.
  3. In the search tab, type in the app you're looking for.

For additional information on how the Invoice feature operates in QuickBooks Online Malaysia, you can visit this website: Online Invoicing Software for small businesses in QuickBooks Malaysia.

If you have further inquiries regarding invoice management, Fauziyana, don't hesitate to seek assistance from the Community. We're always available to support you.

Not at the moment. Same situation with other global brands (excluding ERP).

It is truly unacceptable that QuickBooks has made no effort to integrate a built-in e-invoicing feature for Malaysia.

Instead of taking responsibility for compliance with local regulations, Intuit is abandoning its customers in Malaysia by pushing us toward third-party software and middleware, which means extra costs, additional complexity, and increased risk of service disruptions. We all know how this plays out: when issues arise, companies pass the blame, and the customer is left stuck in the middle with no real solution.

Our company has eight QuickBooks Online accounts, and we now deeply regret trusting QuickBooks to support businesses in Malaysia. We were led to believe that this was a serious, forward-thinking company that would adapt to regulatory changes, but instead, QuickBooks is leaving its users scrambling for unreliable workarounds.

To make matters worse, QuickBooks does not even provide an easy migration path to switch to another platform. We are essentially trapped in a system that refuses to keep up with local compliance, adding to the frustration.

At this point, it is clear that QuickBooks does not care about its Malaysian users. Other accounting software providers are implementing built-in e-invoicing, yet QuickBooks remains silent and dismissive.

QuickBooks, are you going to address this, or should Malaysian businesses start moving to a provider that actually values its customers? For those in the same situation, what alternative systems are you considering?

Xero has released their own connector for free. They are offering a massive discount (90% off for 6 months) at the moment. They still need to fix some issues (e.g we are still unable to include the 55 additional field required by LHDN)

You can purchase a 3rd party service to convert data from QBO if required.
