Can i have a different email template to each custom form style i create for invoices?

It's good to see you here, @userkorovesis,

 

QuickBooks uses a standard email template for customized invoices. Choosing a different one is currently unavailable.

 

However, you can change the content of the email for each invoice to make it different from the rest. There are options on the template to update the message or intro. See this:

 

Having this option is a great feature to add in our program and your suggestions or feedback is important for us. This will help us with our product enhancements in the future.

Has there been any movement on creating multiple email templates for custom form invoices? We would like to have different emails for first time clients then we do our regularly invoiced clients and we can't seem to be able to do that still without manually typing each time.

Thanks for joining this conversation. Allow me to hop in and help ensure this is taken care of for you.

 

Currently, the ability to create multiple email templates for invoices is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). In the meantime, you can follow the suggested steps shared by my colleague Jen_D above to manually change the email content for each invoice as a workaround.

 

I can see how having this option would be helpful for you and your business. While this isn't available yet, you can send a feedback directly to our product developers. They're always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve QBO.

 

Here's how to do it:

 

  1. In QBO, go to the Gear (Settings) icon at the top right.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then click Next to submit feedback.

Where is your company located? You can utilize a free invoicing app as a workaround to integrate with QBO.
