Hello there, rachel-kim-netki.

The option to convert text to an image isn't available in QuickBooks. However, we can use the Attachment feature to add an image or file on the Estimate.

Here's how you can do that:

  1. On the Estimate screen, go to the Attachment section.
  2. Choose the image you want to add in the transaction.
  3. Hit Open.
  4. Ensure to select the Attach to email box to include the image when you send the estimate.

Afterward, the image will show on your customer's end when they received the transaction.

Also, you may be experiencing some browser-related issue causes the Estimate to be filled with text.

A cache is a component that boosts the browser's processes. However, it can cause issues when piled up on your browser. Here's how to get rid of any cache related issues:

  1. Open a private browser and log in to your account. It uses but doesn't store cache.
  2. If you can add the tags successfully, we can clear the cache on your regular browser.
  3. Other supported browsers are good alternatives, too. Each of them uses a different cache.

I've also added an article when you're ready to convert Estimate to an Invoice: Convert Estimate to Invoice.

Give this a shot and let us know of the results. We'll be right here to further assist you.

I JUST RECENTLY NOTICED THAT WHEN I SEND AN ESTIMATE BY EMAIL THAT THERE IS NO ATTACHMENT OF THE ESTIMATE TO OPEN OR PRINT OUT, INSTEAD IT TELLS THE AMOUNT OF THE ESTIMATE AND NO DETAILS OF THE ESTIMATE. NOT SURE WHAT I DID WRONG?

I'm here to help you sort things out, JGHBOND68.

Let's review your Account and Settings page and make sure the PDF Attached option is selected.

Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon at the upper right corner and choose Accounts and Settings.
  2. From the Sales tab, tick the Online delivery to edit.
  3. Select on the  Show full details in email radio button. Make sure to put a check-mark on the PDF Attached box.
  4. Tap on Save
  5. Hit Done.

If this option is already selected, let's access the email that you've sent on a private window, check if you're able to view the estimate and have the print button.

However, if the problem persists, you may clear the browsers' cache to remove the unnecessary data and refresh your files. It also prevents this hurdle from occurring.

You might find the pointers below interesting. This will provide you steps on how to email other sales forms and ways to customise them in QuickBooks Online as well as turning an estimate into an invoice:
