Thanks for posting here, @osborne.jorge,
I want to help you with this problem, but I will need a few information about this. Which section in QuickBooks are you not seeing the Tax ID? Any information will help me further with your concern.
In the meantime, you can try using another browser or a private window. Unexpected issues in QuickBooks are sometimes affected by the amount of data stored in the cache. This is because the regular browser will constantly overwrite itself and will remove history unless done manually.
The incognito mode will not save any history, so it's a great place to identify issues in the browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:
Clearing the cache can also help resolve browser issues in QBO.
If you're referring to the tax ID not appearing on invoices, you can customise the template to show this information. Here’s how:
See this link for the complete instructions: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
Kindly update this thread for the additional information. I'll be waiting for your response. Have a nice day!
Thanks for your response Jen_D.
While creating a new customer you can click on the "+Details" link, which will take you to the Customer information screen. On that screen, just below "Display name as" I should see the Tax reg. no. field for the customer, but the field isn´t there anymore.
I have tried with different browsers as well as incognito windows; however the Tax reg. no. field is not there anymore.
I would appreciate your help.
I appreciate the screenshot you've shared, @osborne.jorge.
We've receive reports coming from our other customers about the same issue. Our product engineers are currently working on an investigation to help determine the root cause of this unexpected behavior. Once completed, they'd be able to release a permanent resolution.
In the meantime, I'd recommend contacting our Technical Support Team so you'd be added to the affected users' list. Just provide your full name, updated email address, and this investigation number: INV-57356.

Hi
That option is no longer available
But you can enter directly in the invoice in the first row itself after email. Once you enter it for the first time, it will automatically appear in the next invoices.
Basically quickbooks have removed that field from Customer creation time and added that field in the invoice
Thanks & Regards
