Expense Transactions are not showing up when looking at the expenses page instead its showing the "Connect bank" page.

I have just the information you'll need about transactions, @deepti1.

Transactions that are in the expense page are already added transactions, while those that are in the banking page (For Review tab) are not yet added in QuickBooks.

You'll want to add your expense transactions first from the banking page, so you can view them. Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking, then Banking at the top.
  2. Select the transactions you'll want to add.
  3. Click the Add link under Action column.

These added transactions will then be moved to the reviewed tab and can be viewed on the expense page. I've added this article about categorizing and matching online transactions that I'm sure you'll find helpful. It has detailed steps that'll guide you through the process.

Thank you Shiella but what I meant is how to get rid of the attached and just view the transaction list as before.

It looks like you're in Transactions instead of the Expenses menu, deepti1.

This is the reason why you see the option to connect a bank account.

To see all expenses, go to the Expenses menu and proceed to the Expenses tab. It's where you can see all your recorded expense transactions in your account.

You'll also want to run a Transaction List by Vendor report. This will let you see your transactions grouped by vendor. Just go to the Reports menu and select Transaction List by Vendor

Hi there, Andrea86.

I'd be glad to help you show the transactions in the expenses tab in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

After you categorized the bank transactions, you'll be able to view all your recorded expense transactions in your account. You can go to the Expenses menu and ensure to filter the appropriate Type and Date.

However, If the issue persists, there might be an issue with your current browser that's causing this behavior. Let's open your account in a private window. This mode doesn't save your search histories and would help us isolate the problem.

Simply press the following shortcut keys to access it:

  •  Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

Once done, check again for the missing transactions. If you're able to see them again, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can also use another supported browser as an alternative.

Feel free to leave a reply below if you need further assistance recovering the missing transactions. I'd be glad to assist you further. Have a good one.
