First, QuickBooks Online supports the said preference to regions that use these languages:
Chinese and French.
Italian and Spanish.
If you belong to one of those regions, you can change your language preference in the settings page. I've got the steps needed to make this process a breeze.
Here's how to do it:
Click the Gear icon, and then choose Account and settings.
Select Advanced, and then go to the Language section.
Click the pencil icon to edit, and then choose the desired language from the drop-down.
Select Save, and then Done when you're ready.
If not, you can add your preferred language on your browser settings. Let's take Google Chrome as an example.
To do that:
Open Google Chrome, and then click the three dots at the top.
Choose Advanced, and then Languages.
Enable Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language you read radio button.
Close the setting tab, and then sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
Click the Google translate icon.
On the pop-up, select Options, andthen Change languages.
In the Translation language drop-down, choose your preferred language.
Click Always translate, and then Translate.
Aside from the said setting, there are other preferences you can modify in QBO. This way, you can personalize QBO to work the way you want it to. Please head to this link for additional tips: Edit company settings.
