Hi Noor_Zeeshan,
Remember when you set up your inventory item, you are asked to enter the Quantity on Hand (QOH) and the As of date. That serves as the start date (or the birth of the item). Therefore, you cannot use the item in transactions dated before that. However, there is a way to change it, and I will guide you through the steps.
On the other hand, you can check out the Help Articles for QBO should you need them in the future.
