Hello there, account15.
QuickBooks offers different versions to use, depending on your choice and location. To use QuickBooks in the German version, we'll need to sign up in the German version too. Otherwise, we can't change the country after you signed up. We may need to cancel it and create a new one to correct it.
Here's how to make sure you'll be using QuickBooks German version:
On the other hand, if you mean changing the language to German in the settings, we can only change it to English, Chinese, French, Italian, and Spanish. You can also check the articles below to get additional information about editing your company settings and switching to another company when you have multiple ones.
Let me know if you have other questions or clarification. I'll be around to back you up anytime. Take care and have a good one!
If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 3 or 6 months. If you purchase from the Trial account, you have to pay the regular rate. You will find Germany is one of the country options.
I signed up for Quickbooks and so did my business partner. I think I signed up for Quickbooks by going through this process and selecting Germany, but how do I find this in my account information. I have my account and his account. We are trying to select the German one and cancel the other. Where do we look for this information? Is it in the account settings?
If you purchased a QBO EU version for Germany, you may check these info:
1. Navigate to your Billing and Subscription menu. You have to see your billing in Euro.
2. Check your company business address. You are only allowed to register with a valid address with postcode in Germany
Hi,
Similar to the above, I have a few other versions of Quickbooks for entities outside of Germany. If I want to add a company in Germany, that should work right? It can be under the same subscription but a different country? Or do I need to make a completely new subscription for the Germany entity.
Best,
B
One QBO account is for one company file. If your client is located in Germany, you should open a new QBO EU version for Germany account for them. You may use the same email address.
As another option, you may utilize QB Desktop to manage multi company files with a single one time license. Deploy a private cloud if required.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
