Let me make it up to you by sharing some information about QuickBooks Online (QBO) pricing. I've got two scenarios based on the details you've shared.
First, if you already have an existing QBO subscription, the following are the possible reasons for the high charge:
To learn more about this, you can visit this site: QuickBooks Online pricing.
Second, if you want to create or reactivate a new account, you can take advantage of the 50% discount good for 1-3 months. Another option is to use our trial version. For more info about this, please see this link: QBO discounts and free trial.
Also, you can contact our support team for further assistance. They can review your account securely and provide more details about the subscription charge.
Here's how to get in touch with them:
Lastly, you can personalize your QBO to work the way you want it to. You can perform a few tweaks on the settings page to achieve this. Please head to this link for more details: Edit company settings in QBO.
I'm around to lend a hand if you have more subscription concerns. Just add the details in the comments and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can.
How much is your bill now?
Facing the same issue. No prior intimation from Intuit and the subscription fees have gone up 3x!!
The same question, how much is your bill now?
INR 1059 + taxes, which comes down to INR 15000 annually.
Until last month, it was INR 5000 annually (12 payments of 412). There was no ongoing offer at that time either.
Afaik, they no longer offer annual renewal and you will have to use the current monthly rate to renew. You can open a new blank QBO account with the discounted rate as another option.

Then utilize the Copy tool to duplicate data before canceling your old account.
Otherwise, time to switch to another accounting app and you may purchase a 3rd party conversion service.
My issue wasn't with unavailability of annual plan. Monthly billing works fine as long as it's still adding up to the same total. My primary issue was with no communication - I am sure most businesses could still set aside another 10k for this subscription. Taking the old customer for granted is the bigger concern.
So yes, unfortunately the third option seems to be the best one as of now.
Thanks for your inputs nonetheless
