Custom field and drop down list availability in QBO Plus
Hi All,
In QuickBooks Online, user can add a custom text field on the Invoice form to mention other/important information which can't be done on already/by default available fields on the form.
Please guide if the said facility is available on other forms (like employee's form) too or is only available in Invoice Form?
Can user create the drop down list in the Custom field? Or only text/custom field is available in certain form of QBO?
Sales forms like Invoice, Estimate and Sales receipt are the only forms that you’ll be able to modify. Also, you can enter your desired title on the custom field. Though, creating a drop down list is not possible.
Currently, you’ll be able to add up to three custom fields on the form. If there are still information you’d like to include, you might want to enter them on the Message on invoice field.

Is it on your developers list to add the drop down list capability? This would only make sense for things like sales reps. If you do not have a standard drop down one spelling error would exclude that sale from any reports you are doing.

I agree, I have several clients asking for this feature, it's such a pain to type in the whole name, we've tried initials too, but a drop-down list would make this so much more useful and efficient.
