The new E-invoice regulation isn't available in QuickBooks Online (QBO), hmzqh.
QBO still uses the old invoice format. Each software has its own format to store invoice information electronically.
To use the e-invoicing in QBO, you need to turn online invoice. Then, send a payment-enabled invoice. Let me guide you through the process.
To enable online delivery:
- Click the Gear icon at the top of the main page.
- Under Your Company, choose Account and Settings.
- Click Sales on the left.
- Click Online delivery.
- Set Email options for invoices to an Online invoice from the drop-down.
- Click Save and Done.
Once done, you can send an e-invoice in QuickBooks.
- Go to the +New icon then click Invoice.
- From the Customer ▼ drop-down, select a customer.
- Check the appropriate payment method boxes in the Online payment section.
- Fill out other details.
- Click Save and send.
- Confirm the preview of the invoice, and modify the subject or body message if needed.
- Ensure the payment methods are checked off, then click Send and close.

Your recipient will receive an email with a button to View Invoice Now.

The invoice will open in their default browser with an option to Pay Now.
