The transactions from credit cards are not being downloaded to quickbook even though connection is ok and the balance is synchronizing any ideas?

When you first connect your credit card account, some banks allow you to download the last 90 days of transactions, while others can provide transactions going back as far as 24 months, @narkis. I will explain this more.


Depending on your bank, you can download at least the past 90 days or 24 months of transactions. If your transactions exceed the given time frame, you can manually upload them to your QBO.


However, if you can't locate a recently downloaded transaction or new transactions are not appearing, you can update your bank transactions within QBO. Here's how:
 

  1. In the Transactions, hit Bank transactions.
  2. After that, tap Update.

If you're still not seeing the transactions in QuickBooks, you can start by checking the specific bank or credit card tile from which you downloaded the transactions. These are the guides to where you should look:
 

  • For the For Review tab. QuickBooks places recently downloaded transactions here. Categorize it to find the missing transaction. Transactions don't show up on your books until you categorize them.
  • The Categorized tab. If you find a transaction in the wrong account after categorizing it, follow these steps to unmatch and move it.
  • Finally, check the Excluded tab. If you mark a transaction as personal or a duplicate, it will be excluded from your accounts in QuickBooks. If you want to include it, select Undo and categorize it into the correct account.
