What is knowledge badge?

Get your knowledge badg!

I receive this message on portal for selecting Banking or Reporting badge. What is this? Can you please inform if I choose for banking then later on can I change it for reporting badge?

The Knowledge badge signifies that you've successfully completed the training either for Banking or Reporting.

Yes, you can get the two badges as long as you've completed the Banking course before proceeding to Reporting. To begin your journey, I recommend following the steps below:

Log in to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
Select ProAdvisor from the left-hand navigation bar.
Choose the Training tab and then Training Home.
On the Get your knowledge badge! page, click Get started.
The navigation tool begins by displaying an option to choose your knowledge badge path.
You will select either Banking or use the arrow to move to Reporting.
When you have decided which badge training path you want to take, hit Pick badge.

Yes, you can get both badges as long as you've completed the knowledge skill and passed the two assessments. You can still go back anytime you want to take the training to get the other badge.

Are the knowledge badges gone? I don’t see them under training?

Hi there.

Let me give you some insights about the knowledge badge in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

First of all, I just want to know if the ProAdvisor license that you have has already expired, that way we can identify if that's causing the issue. But if not then still the certificate is not showing on your end I highly recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online support they'll pull up your account in a secure environment and they can closely examine the issue and conduct further troubleshooting.

Here's how:

Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
Click on Help(?) at the upper right.
Select Search and give a brief description of your concern, then hit on Contact Us.
You can choose Start a chat or Call us.

I have completed the banking training 100% and passed the CPE assessment for beg/intermediate/advanced but still don’t see a banking badge

Your reply on this thread is much appreciated, jt. I'm here to help you access and download your badge and certification.

Beforehand, once your badge and certification expire, you need to retake the examination to be recertified. Please be guided that the annual recertification window is from late April to June 30.

Furthermore, the ProAdvisor advanced certifications are only available to some regions like the United States, United Kingdom, India, Australia, Canada, South Africa, and the United States. If you're not in these regions, that would be the cause why you can't see your badge and certification.

Moving on, if you've completed and passed the assessments and examinations, the badge should be available after 60 minutes of taking them. After that timeframe, you can view and download the badge on your device. To do so, kindly follow the steps below.

To download your certificates:

Log in to QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) and click Training.
Choose the certification.
Select Download certificate.

To review or download your course history and badges:

On your QBOA account, click Training.
Choose the Training and certification history link. On this page, you can download past badges and certifications.
Locate the certification you wish to access and press the icon in the Certification column.

I don’t see a knowledge certification exam? I’ve done the QBO online and payroll exams and see the badges for those. Do you have to pass QBO advanced in order to get knowledge badges?
