Hello there, info1081.
I'd like to ask if you received an error message when trying to delete a journal entry so I can walk you through the easy steps. Also, you'll have to have a customer name if you selected Accounts Receivable in the Journal Entry.
In addition, there are two ways on how you can delete a journal entry. The one provided by my colleague is directly through the bank register. I'll show you how to delete from the Journal Entry you're opening.
If you're still unable to delete the JE, you can perform a few browser troubleshooting steps. Stored cache files on the regular browser causes unexpected behavior within QuickBooks. We can verify that by logging into QuickBooks using a private browser and then delete the journal entry. If it works, switch back to the main browser and clear the cache. Another way to isolate browser issues is to use other browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox.
Keep me posted on how this works. I'll keep an eye on your reply. Take care and have a great day!cler

I have found the account which journey entry was deposited to, but when I click the "journey", it directs to the content of the "journey entry", I can't find the "delete" icon shows on your demonstration...
Or the type of account matters? The journal entry goes to A/R account receivable account. I can delete the transaction under other account type.
