VAT RTD report is not running correctly.

Hi, I am having problems with the new mixed mode VAT RTD report. It runs fine on Accruals basis and on strict ( sales and purs) cash basis but when I run mixed mode I get " this report does not contain any data" ?

VAT RTD report is not running correctly.

Hi there, @padraig1. I'm here to ensure you can get the information you need right away.

In the Mixed Mode RTD Report, QuickBooks will use the Cash basis for sales transactions and the Accrual basis for purchase transactions. Blank data or pages are usually the results of too much historical data stored in your browser. We can perform basic troubleshooting to resolve it. First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Log in to your account and run your sales tax report. If it's responsive, I'd recommend clearing your browser's cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with it.

You can also customise your report in the way your business needs. You can apply multiple filters or format the layout.

Please come back if you need more assistance with running your desired reports. It's my pleasure to help.

Thanks LieraMarie_A ,

I've completely cleared the cache on Firefox ( an alternative to my usual browser) and tried again. Unfortunately the problem persists.
