I am not able to add GST amount at time of booking any invoice , even from all old bills GST has been removed. please resolve the issue. call me @xxxxxxxxxx

We want this resolved as much as you do, User51048.

 

First, let's check that GST is correctly set up. This way, you can add it to your invoice.

 

Next, we'll have to ensure the tax selection is not set up to be out of scope. It will hinder the sales tax to be calculated. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab.
  4. Click the Pencil icon in the Accounting section.
  5. Change the tax rate.
  6. Click Save, then Done.

However, if everything is set up correctly and you're still unable to add the GST amount, you may be experiencing some browser issues. We'll perform a few steps to fix this. Let's start with logging into your account through a private browser. It's the best place to identify browser hiccups. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you can add the GST amount successfully using the private browsing session, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the program. 

 

Also, you can use a different browser to narrow down the issue.
