Hi Amar, to unfile a tax return, you’ll need to contact our Live Support Team for assistance.

Once you’ve filed a VAT return, QuickBooks automatically marks it as Mark as filed. To ensure accuracy in your books and receive tailored guidance, our Live Support Team will walk you through the process.

Here’s how you can reach them:

1. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper-right corner.
2. Select the Search tab and enter your concern in the search field.
3. Click the Contact Us button at the bottom.
4. Choose Start a chat.

When connected, provide the following details:

1. Your QuickBooks Online Company ID.
2. The tax filing period you wish to unfile.
3. The reason you need to unfile your tax.

Please note that our chat support is available 24 hours GMT, Monday to Friday, for QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus users.

During the process, all users must remain signed out, and the Live Support Team will notify you once the return has been successfully unfiled.
