Yes, you can, shiraz.

Connecting the ATO to QuickBooks Online is easy. Just follow these steps below:

  1. Click GST on the left pane.
  2. Click the Connect the ATO button.
  3. Select if you want to authorise via phone, or authorise via ATO Access Manager.

Check this article for more information on how to successfully connect: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/gst-and-bas/enable-bas-e-lodgement-for-quickbooks/....

Here's a blog for lodging your BAS in QuickBooks: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/au/resources/product-updates/lodge-your-bas/.

Welcome aboard to the Community forum, @Robert Perkins.

There can be a possible webpage issue when signing up on your account. To check if this is the case, you can sign in again using a private browser.

Here's how to open a private browser depending on your browser:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Chrome.
  • Hold down Command + Shift + N for Safari.

If you're able to see the Connect to the ATO button on the GST page, I'd suggest you go back to your regular browser and clear your cache. You can refer to this article that will walk you through the steps depending on which one you're using: Clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files.

However, if you still can't see the connect button, it'd be best to reach out to our Online Support for assistance. This way, they can access your account in a secure environment and isolate the issue further.

Please let me know how this goes and if you need further assistance by leaving a comment. I'm here to keep helping. Have a good one!
