You can change the address by navigating to the Company Settings.
To do this, select the Gear Icon on the top-right corner of QuickBooks Online, select Account and Settings/Company Settings, then change the address under the Contact info section.

The actual solution for anyone else wondering..
When you're creating an invoices, click on the "edit work info" text displayed at the bottom of the screen. A window will open from the right and give you the options to change your invoice details, including your business address
I have quick books 2020 and cannot change our company address on our invoices. I do not have a settings icon in the top right of screen as has been suggested . I cannot seem to find anywhere on the screen where it will allow me to amend our address. This is really frustrating. It was also suggested that the address can be updated when you create a new invoice and then click on "edit work info" text at the bottom of the screen. I looked all over and can not see and "edit work info" tab. Any other suggestions would be so greatly received.

Thank you Ryan. I clicked on the Lists menu and there was no Templates. So thank you for your reply but your suggestion did not work. However, I've persevered and been able to update our address at last. Here is what I did (in case any one else has the same problem)
I clicked on the quickbooks logo in the top left corner, then opened preferences , then my company and was able to change our address.. I'm happy !!!!!!!
