Hi

I have checked in QBO and spoken with QBO, Tyro is not a supported bank as of yesterday.  Are you saying it now is?

Cheers

Thanks for getting back to us, @kbbk.

As of now, QuickBooks Online (QBO) currently doesn't support Tyro bank. However, you can submit a request for it to be added. Here's how:

  1. In QBO, go to the Banking menu at the left pane to get to the Banking page.
  2. Click the Add account button at the top right.
  3. Enter Tyro in the search field, then select the Request support for your bank option at the bottom.
  4. Paste the bank's URL in the desired field and hit Request

For more information about the process, refer to this article: Find your bank account when you connect to online banking.

Just in case, I'll add this article for future reference: Add and connect to a bank or credit card account.

Please let me know in the comment below if you have any other concerns. I'm always here to help. Have a great day!

Hello there, @Mayfield Cell Phone Repairs.

Let me make it up to you by making sure you'll get connected to QuickBooks Online.

If you are unable to locate your bank when searching, consider the following:

  • Verify the spelling. Make sure the spelling is exactly as it appears on your bank's website.
  • Use very specific names to search for your bank. If you still can't find anything, try broader names like "Citi."
  • Enter your bank's URL into the search. For example, search for "Tyro.com" for TYRO.

However, if your financial institution isn't supported by QuickBooks, you may submit a request to add it. You can refer to the steps provided by my colleague above for your guide.

Once you connect your accounts, transactions will download and categorise. All you need to do is approve them. Visit this article for the detailed process: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

In addition, QuickBooks downloads the most recent transactions automatically. It searches for and attempts to match them with transactions you've previously entered into QuickBooks. If no match is found, it establishes a different transaction record for you. You can get it from here: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

It'll be always my pleasure to help if you have any other questions. I'll be right here in the Community ready to help.

Howdy

I am still wanting Tyro connected, that would save time each month.  I would be able to code transactions as the happen and not have to wait until end of month, download the csv, upload, correct any errors that may have come through and then begin reconciling the line items to each transaction.

Tyro is popular out there, I see it everywhere please please connect the feed.

Thank you for your feedback, kbbk. I totally understand how important the bank feed connection is on your business.

At the moment we can't provide a time frame as to when the Tyro bank will be approved as a supported bank in QuickBooks Online. Also, this depends on the agreement between Intuit QuickBooks Online and your financial institution if a bank can be supported and integrated with QuickBooks.

There's no specific notification if a bank gets added to the list of supported banks, we recommend you check from time to time by trying to search your bank's name or URL on your QuickBooks file. If it shows up that means the bank is supported.

In the meantime, you can manually import your bank transactions in CSV file format to complete your bank reconciliation.

Feel free to post again if you have any other questions and we'd be glad to help.
