When I started my free trial on my Chromebook I accidentally left it on Australia. I'm in the USA. How do I change the country, or delete my account?

I’m here to walk you through creating a new QuickBooks account in the correct country, @natalie-milfordt.

 

Are you aiming to change the region of your QuickBooks subscription? If so, we’re unable to change which country you’ve set within the system. For more information, check out this article: Can I change the account's country?

 

I recommend creating a new subscription in QuickBooks using the US as a region since we’re unable to delete your AU account. To avoid double billing, you’ll want to cancel it.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/#
  2. Choose which subscription you’ll use and whether to subscribe now or use a 30-day free trial.
  3. Select Add another company, then enter your existing Intuit login credentials.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the account.

 

Once done, let’s import your customers, suppliers, chart of accounts, and product and service lists from the old account to the new one. You can read this article for the detailed steps: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online
