You can manually remove the product details in the sales forms you're currently using or in the item itself to get your product field clear. I'll gladly input the steps for each solution that I've provided.

Can you review my example images, when editing products and services directly cleared fields are ignored by save and old field data returns
Same issue occurs for description and price fields
If i clear entries from those fields and save the product the cleared fields are ignored and not saved and the old data returns

I've got some steps to help fix the issue when trying to save new product details. First, sign in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. This helps isolate the issue since it doesn’t store data in the cache. Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:
If it works, please clear your browser's cache and restart your browser right after. Then, go to Products and Services list and try to clear or remove the Preferred Supplier.

Unfortunately doesnt seem to work
I tried on clear cache before and after clearing the field for firefox, incognito firefox and chrome
I can change the field to anything but clear
