I value you reaching out to us regarding this matter, Madhukara. Let me provide some information regarding this query.

Westpac and its partner companies have recently updated their security settings, which means they no longer support standard data feeds. If your account qualifies, you’ll be able to switch over to Direct Feeds instead.

However, Westpac will be sending out an email to everyone affected, letting them know that standard feeds are being phased out. To find that email quickly, you can search your inbox using #Westpac.

If you can’t find the email or need help figuring out if your account is eligible, feel free to reach out to our Live Support team as they can guide you through the next steps.

  1. Sign in to your account, then go to the Help menu.
  2. Tap on Contact Us from the search tab.
  3. Choose between the methods to connect with our support.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps based on your choice.

You can refer to this article for a clear guide on how to connect and manage your bank account in QuickBooks. It is a great way to keep your records accurate and organized.

Hello Team at QB,

I have already connected my accounts using Direct Feed and my question was not about that. Direct Feed does not allow connecting credit card and I have been told that I have to do CSV uploads to get credit card transactions in.

I contacted Westpac to see whether this is the case with all the accounting software providers and they informed, MyOB can handle credit card account feeds also automatically without CSV uploads. My query was related to whether this feature will be on the development roadmap for QuickBooks as well.

Thanks

Thanks for getting back on this thread, Madhukara.

Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) has not yet confirmed any information whether they will add a feature to automatically handle credit card account feeds with Westpac, reducing the need for CSV uploads in the QuickBooks workflow.
