The sound settings during capturing a receipt in the QuickBooks app is a default in the system. Thus, turning this off within the program is unavailable. As a workaround, you can adjust the volume of your device. Please note that this may also affect other features on your phone such as not hearing sounds or alerts from other apps.

Turning down the device volume DOES NOT turn off or turn down the sound. Been thru this already. Why don't these people try this before they answer.
