Are you referring to your link account? If so, it could be that your linked accounts were set to be hidden from your bank transaction page. Let me show you how to revert it to display those accounts again.

Once you set the option to Hide account cards, only the uncategorized or the for-review transactions will be displayed on your bank transaction page. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank Transaction.
  2. Choose the bank dropdown menu.
  3. Click Show account cards.

Or, you are pertaining to an account from your Chart of Accounts? You'll want to double-check again, it could be that the account is in a different name.

However, if this isn't the case for you, I suggest accessing your QBO account in a private browser. This way, you can identify if it is a browser-related issue. If the private browsing session works, clear the browser's cache, so the system can restart. This task is also possible in other supported, up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with clearing the stocked cache and cookies causing the issues.

I'm also adding this article to help you learn what the chart of accounts is and why it’s important to set up correctly in QuickBooks Online: Learn about the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

For additional concerns about your accounts in QBO, don't hesitate to post them here in the Community. We're always available and willing to lend a hand to your queries. Have a great day!

Thanks for getting back to us, Marli. Let me help you access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Before anything, I'd like to know if you encountered any errors when logging in. This will help us get around the issue and provide accurate steps. First, let's open a private browser to verify if the problem lies with your search engine. Refer to these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

There are several scenarios for why we're unable to access our QBO account, such as:

  • I forgot my user ID or password
  • I lost access to my phone or email address
  • I didn’t get a text, email, or phone call with my verification code
  • My verification code isn't working
  • I reset my password and now I can’t sign in

This article will expound on the steps to these different situations. Please check it out: Recover your Intuit Account if you can’t sign in.

While the reference above is a US article, the troubleshooting steps remain the same. I will be coming back to update this once the URL for the South Africa region is working.

Furthermore, after successfully accessing your account, here's a helpful article if you want to change your billing, payment, and subscription info: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

This thread is always open for further questions in accessing your accounts. I'm just a comment away, ready to assist you. Have a good one.
