Hello, distilledphotogr.

I would like to help you out in connecting your Tyme bank account, but I need more details about the issues.

Did you receive an error message when trying to link your bank account? Also, what's the complete link for Tyme's login page? Knowing these details would help me narrow down the issue and check if Tyme is one of our participating banks for the Banking feature.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi James Paul,

Response appreciated, thank you.

Tyme bank doesnt show up as one of the options, so its not one of the "participating banks". The URL is https://www.tymebank.co.za/

Does this help?

Thanks for your prompt reply, distilledphotogr.

Yes, you're right. The Tyme Bank doesn't show up as an option. Thus, it isn't a participating bank.

There are a few possible reasons why your bank account isn't still supported with QuickBooks Online. Here are some:

  • Verify the spelling. Use precise names when searching for your bank, and double-check that the spelling is exactly as it appears on your bank's website. If you're still having trouble, consider using broader names like "HSBC."
  • Type the URL of your bank into the search. For HSBC, for instance, search "hsbc.com."
  • Search for the issuing bank's name, meaning the bank that issued your card. "Chase," "HSBC," or "Bank of America" should work, but "Visa" may be too generic.

If you have tried every option that matches your bank's name but are still unable to connect, or if your bank does not appear, I'd recommend requesting support for your bank. You can learn more by checking out this article's Request support for your bank section: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

Alternatively, you can still manually upload your bank transactions to QuickBooks if you still can't connect your bank account.
