Any Portuguese bank account connects with QuickBooks Online, as long as it is supported with the program. If you're unsure, you can reach out to your bank and confirm if they can connect your bank with us. However, you can try these steps to link your bank to your QBO account.
Another option is to manually upload the bank transactions using the CSV file to continue bringing them to QuickBooks. First, download transactions from your bank by logging in to your bank's website. Then, follow the given instructions on how to download transactions and save the file on your desktop or anywhere you can easily find it.
Once done, upload them to your book by following these steps:

Thank you for your response.
My bank is with Millennium BCP, and it does not come up.
I also tried the top 10 banks on this list to no avail: https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/careers/companies/top-banks-in-portugal/
I have a lot of transactions coming off on my account and would prefer to automate the process, hence the need to find a bank in PT that can connect to QBO.
So far no luck, if you have a name of a fairly popular bank please advise?

As mentioned above, each bank account can connect with QuickBooks Online, as long as it's supported by the program and approved by your Financial Institution. That said, we're unable to provide the exact name of a popular bank to be connected in QBO to automatically sync your entries. However, there are a few possible reasons why you're unable to locate the bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO):
If you're unable to find your bank after confirming the required details above, I'd recommend trying other versions of your financial institution that are listed.

If you have tried all the options matching your bank's name and still can't connect, I suggest requesting support for your bank. Please follow the steps below.

I have followed all the steps suggested, but my Portuguese bank (Novo Banco, S.A.) is not included in the list on QB. Will Intuit contact Novo Banco directly to request access via QB online?
I also have issues regarding the downloading of transactions from the Novo Banco site for upload to QB, because the transactions available are limited to 2 months or 200 transactions. Moreover, the only download format available is xls.
I need to be able to link the Novo Banco account to QB because of Make Tax Digital.

We're continuously working to support many banks globally, but it's up to them if they want to provide feeds to QuickBooks. You can send the request to support your bank using ChristieAnn's second set of steps above, so our engineers will work on it. However, we're unable to provide a turnaround time for requests like this.
About downloading transactions, you'll want to ask your bank if they can provide your older transactions. Then, you can create a CSV (comma delimited) out of the XLX file, so you can upload the transactions.
