Hi elize-horn,
I'm here to share some information about changing subscriptions.
The option to switch from QuickBooks Online South Africa to the United States is unavailable.
You'll have to purchase a new subscription and ensure to select the United States as the country. Then, you may cancel the South African version to avoid duplicate charges.
You can change the country by clicking the Country drop-down.
I've added this link as your guide on how to cancel the subscription: Cancel QuickBooks Online.
You can also check this reference to get started with QuickBooks Online- United States: QuickBooks Q & A.
That should do it, elize-horn. You can always count me in if you have concerns with managing your account.
Thanks for the reply Adrian, will I loose now the money that I paid last week for the 2 companies in South Africa. Or will they refund me seeing that I didn't use it as yet.

You have to open a new blank QBO US version and cancel your QBO South Africa account

Do I need to apply again and pay then for the United states companies seeing that it's 2 of them. I didn't use this companies as yet in SA and will not loose that money. If I cancel and apply again US will they refund me
Also I'm the bookkeeper situated in SA and my client is in US. If I apply for multiply companies again by taking 2 licenses so long. And need more licenses later they told me the amount will be the same for the other companies later. And also I don't have upfront my clients details, so can I use my first client s info to apply for both licenses address and my name and email to open books. Then change info when I have the clients info. Will appreciate a call too explain myself
Why don't your clients open their own accounts? You can access it with QBO Accountant US version for free. If your clients don't need to access their books, consider using QB Desktop. You can still purchase a one-time license for QB Desktop 2021 to manage multi-company files.
Hi Fiat Lux, you see I'm a bookkeeper that get jobs via agency to do books. So sometimes I will have to work from my tablet, phone if I'm not at home or even desktop when at home. However this clients don't know even how to open mostly this type of things and that is why they get me to do so. So this is still very new to me as well.
Do you think If I apply for the multiple company QBO now seeing that I need to work later on this, I will use the lady that I work for now her address and Company name for the first License and then can I change the name later if the second client start later.
And lastly will they refund me paid the 6th of May for SA and didn't use it

You can change the Company name and other supporting information at any time.
The potential problem is you can only purge your QBO US account within 60 days.

Afaik, the 60-day money back guarantee does not apply to monthly QBO subscriptions.
One more thing, if you are using QB Desktop, you can access your company files over the internet with a 3rd party solution. You can work on your noteboook (Windows or Mac) or tablets (iOS or Android).
