The current default browser of all supported QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) versions will use our new custom browser or the built-in browser. With that, you'll want to update to the latest release of your QuickBooks account before you proceed with exporting your company file to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I am having trouble with exporting from desktop to online. I've got the Quickbooks Pro 2016 version. Every time I get blocked with the following message: "for security, intuit does not support this browser or browser version."
I have tried everything and I just can't get this sorted. I feel like crying.... Please can anybody help me with this.

The option to export data from QuickBooks Desk to QuickBooks Online is not available anymore. Please note that QuickBooks Desktop is no longer offered in South Africa.
What you can do now is find a third-party app that can move your data. Another option is to re-enter the transactions manually in QBO:

You may have 3 options:
1. Buy a 3rd party conversion service. Contact me in private for details.
2. Use a migration tool (i.e TPExporter for Desktop and TPImporter for Online)

3. Keep your historical data on QB Desktop and start from scratch on your QB Online. You can buy a 3rd party service to migrate CoA, Lists, and Beginning Balance only to lower your cost. Contact me in private for details.
