Up to which quickbooks desktop versions can be still activated as a new product 2008?? 2086? Just want to make sure

The oldest QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) version you can download or activate is 2010 from our website. QuickBooks 2008 and 2006 are old versions that are no longer supported. With that, we're unable to activate them as a new product.
 

Below are the outlined versions of each product that you can use:

• QuickBooks Desktop Pro - from 2010 to 2021 or Pro Plus version.
• QuickBooks Desktop Premier - from 2011 to 2021 or Premier Plus version.
• QuickBooks Desktop Desktop Enterprise - from 2010 to 2021 version.

You can go to the Downloads & Updates to get the download link for your version of QuickBooks. To download the installation file, you can follow the steps below:

1. From the Downloads & Updates page, select your country, product, and version.
2. Select Download.

Which QB Desktop country version do you have?

To be clear- i have a 2015 version of quickbooks. I can upgrade to 2020 version as you describe below on my desktop?  What is the fee for 2020?

They are not Amazon. It seems they only offer a boxed version and that should be the rest of their stock. If you're not in the US, I don't recommend buying it. Unless you don't mind if you can't use it nor return the item.
