Currently, adding a snapscan QR code to your invoices isn't an option in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @maryna-shaker-co. Let me provide further details about this.
Based on your description of your concern above, it seems that you're using a payment application where you can pay through your phone. Since you're unable to add a snapscan qr code, you can manually type it in the Message on invoice field before sending the invoice to your clients as a workaround. Here's how:
I've attached a screenshot below that shows the fourth step.

Hi.
I noticed in the reply that you mentioned currently the QR code cannot be added.
Is this feature coming soon or will it not be coming at all?
Just trying to figure out a work around for my customers who want to use the efficient quick QR method for payments.
Thank you.
Hi @Stu H,
I'll take care of this query for you.
I suggest looking for a 3rd party app that meets your needs. After that, have the 3rd party app's developer contact Intuit so they can get the app synced to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
As for the specific feature mentioned above, the estimated time for deployment is currently unavailable. What you can do is visit this page: The QuickBooks Blog. New features are listed every month, as well as their short descriptions so you can deal with them.
Any other questions in mind? Post them below, and I'll be sure to get back to you.
Dear would you please

Greetings, @Mazin Abdalla.
I'm happy to share with you some information about QR codes in QuickBooks Online(QBO).
Currently, QR codes are not available in QuickBooks Online. However, you can use a third-party app.
As mentioned by one of my colleagues above, you can contact the developer and ask them to contact QBO to have the app synced.
Since there is no specific time yet as to when this feature will be added, you can visit the QuickBooks blog to know more updates.
You may also check the Payment Links in QBO Payments for more payment options.
If you have more questions about a QR code, just click on the Reply button below. I'm always around to help.
What is the purpose you want to use the QR Code? Is it for internal or external (e.g payment invoice)?
For external use
its must contain
Company name
VAT Number
Date and time
total invoice amount
Total Vat amount
and it must be coded in TLV and Base64
Dear @Rea_M
would you please just share the code sample to add in the msg field
Let me share details on how you can add QR codes on your invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Mazin Abdalla1.
For the time being, you're only able to manually input Alphanumeric codes on your invoices' Message field. Since your QR code is based on the Tag-Length-Value (TLV) and Base64 formats (i.e., the square ones), you may upload a Word document or PDF file as a workaround. Then, attach them as permanent QR codes for all customers and invoices.
To upload a document, here's how:
Once you're done uploading, you can select the uploaded QR code file and select the Batch actions button to create an invoice. This way, you'll automatically attach the file to the transaction and include it when you email invoices to customers. Please see the screenshots below for your reference.
Adding attachments to customer profiles, as well as their transactions allows for more organised record-keeping. To know more about this, you can check out this article: Attachments in QuickBooks Online.
Also, you create attractive and professional-looking invoices in QBO. This lets you add the information that matters most to your business. You can learn more about this by checking out this article: Customise invoices in QuickBooks Online.
Keep me posted on how it goes in the comments below. Let me know if you have other concerns about managing invoices in QBO. I'm always around to help. Take care, and I wish you continued success @Mazin Abdalla1.

Create your Estimates and Invoices in another app. It offers the QR code feature and no fees for up to 1000 invoices.
then utilize a connector to automatically duplicate the Estimates/Invoices data in that app into your QBO account.

Choose the processor to accept your payments (i.e PayPal, Stripe) and utilize this app to reconcile the transactions into your QBO account.

Hi @maryna-shaker-co @Rea_M @Mazin Abdalla1 @Ethel_A ,
We have just launched a new app for QuickBooks called QRify which is capable of automatically adding ZATCA's FATOORA QR code (with all of the needed information and within ZATCA's TLV format) onto your QuickBooks invoices PDFs. You can get it from the App Store here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/appdetails/qrify_add_qr_to_invoices/en-us/?utm_source=442
Please reach out to our support team on the app's dashboard for any question or request.
Best regards

To scan a QR code generated by QRify, u need to download a dedicated APP, which does not make sense actually. I cannot tell each client to download an APP to be able to scan my invoices, while this is not mandatory for other softwares generating e-invoices with QR code.
i had a trial account using QRify and I do not recommend it.
Hi @Salsabil,
QRify does not require you to download a special app. If the type of the QR code that you are generating is "Fatoora" QR - you must use ZATCA's app (or a similar one) that knows how to read the special QR code of the Fatoora (which is not a regular QR code).
Let us know if you have any more questions - we have a chat and email support in the app's dashboard :)
