Using QuickBooks Online - require detailed transactions for individual customers. How do we get this report?

Good day to you, @ruth10. I'm here to share some reports available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to view your customer transactions.

Suppose you're using the QBO Essentials or Plus version. In that case, you can simply run the Transaction List by Customer or Transaction Detail by Account report to view all transactions recorded for each customer. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the search field, enter and click Transaction List by Customer or Transaction Detail by Account report.
  3. Select the date range from the Report period.
  4. Tap on the Customise button to see the specific information you want.
  5. Choose Run report.

On the other hand, you'll want to run the Transaction List by Date report instead if you're using the Simple Start version of QBO. However, it includes transactions from your vendors. Thus, you'll have to filter the report to exclude them from the page.

Additionally, you can visit this article to learn more about how to make changes to the filters or other information within your reports and save them afterward: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns about managing your reports in QBO. I'll be here to lend a helping hand. Have a great day ahead!
