Hi,

Is there a way for me generate Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement in foreign currency as well? So far, I can only see foreign currency in detail reports.

Generating Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Report in Multicurrency

Welcome to Community, Julia44.

I recognize how relevant it is to you to generate a report in multicurrency. Currently, this option is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

At times, we roll out enhancements based on our customer's requests. That being said, I suggest sending a recommendation to our product developers. They'll review this idea and might consider updating it in the future.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear located at the top.
  2. Under Profile, click Feedback.
  3. Enter your recommendation and select Submit.

In the meantime, you'll want to continue using the detail reports to see the foreign currency.

I've added these articles below to learn more about how multi-currency works in the program:

Generating Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Report in Multicurrency

Hi Julia,

I might have a solution for that question. Can you tell me, do you have everything in QBO captured in USD and you would like to view it in an another currency (as of a date)? Or some other situation?

Thanks

`Daniel

@waqarakram

Consider having a BI app as a workaround.

Thanks for joining the thread, waqarakram.

As I've mentioned above, the option to generate a report in multicurrency is unavailable in QBO. We understand that this feature is beneficial to streamline your business processes. That said, I recommend submitting your feedback to our software engineers. This way, they can review your suggestion and may consider it for future product enhancements.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear menu and then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your feature request in the description box.
  3. Once done, click on Next.

You can also track feature requests through the Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online website.

I have some additional articles about managing a wide range of reports in QBO:
