    What kind of requirement do you need on invoice to comply?

    Welcome to the Community, @juanpagg15.

    You have the option to import your custom invoice(s) created outside the QuickBooks Online (QBO). Simply turn on the Import Style option through QuickBooks labs.

    Here's how:

    1. In QBO, go to Settings ⚙️.
    2. Select QuickBooks labs under Your Company.
    3. Turn on Import Style.

    @Sk0

    Do you need like these ones?

    No.

    Let me give you some context. In India, which is one of your markets, the sales tax applicable is called the GST. Under the law some provisions were introduced about a year back which say for every invoice you issue, you have to either manually or through a software, put up the details of the invoice (Customer GST number, Product code HSN, amount of invoice and tax etc. on the GST portal of the government. In return you will be issued a Unique reference number IRN and a QR code, which has to be mandatorily put up on the invoice before it is sent to the customer.

    So this is applicable on businesses with high turnovers from 1 OCT 2020 and now from April 1 2021 it is applicable to everyone irrespective of turnover who is registered with the GST.

    QBO does not seem to have plans to implement it. If not implemented users will not be compliant and will be forced to shift to other software to issue invoices. and manually entering them into QBO afterwards. This is too much of a headache and considering QBO was here to simplify we think it will make life more tough for us.
