QuickBooks in Arabic language

I'm delighted to hear your wonderful words about QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Abubaker_Osman.

I know how relevant for you and your business to have a default Arabic language in QBO. I can see its importance as this helps you easily understand the message in front of your screen. However, we don't have a direct hold if this language would be added to the software in the foreseeable future. But I hear you and recognize your insights about having a big market in the Middle East. With this, I'm here to provide an alternative method you can perform to complete your task.

I'd suggest adding the Arabic language from your browser settings. Then, make it the default one. This way, QBO will use this language moving forward. I'll guide you how.

Here are the steps for Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click the Three horizontal lines at the upper right.
  2. Select Options
  3. Scroll down to the page until you can see the Language section.
  4. Click the Search for more languages drop-down.
  5. Choose Arabic in the Select a language to add list.
  6. Hit Add
  7. Use the Move Up button to make it as a primary language.
  8. Click OK

The screenshot below shows you the third to sixth steps.

AddArabicLanguageFromTheBrowserSettings.PNG

For Google Chrome:

  1. Click the Three lined dots button at the upper right.
  2. Select Settings
  3. Hit the three horizontal lines and go to the Advanced settings.
  4. Choose Languages from the list.
  5. Click Add languages from the drop-down and select Arabic
  6. To change the browser language, select Display Google Chrome in this language

For Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the Settings and more (three-dotted) button at the upper right.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Choose Languages from the left menu.
  4. Use the Add languages button so you can select Arabic
  5. Check the Display Microsoft Edge in this language option.
  6. Click OK

If you're using Safari, just go to the Apple menu. Then, select System Preferences and click Language & Region. You can add Arabic as the default language from there.

For the time being, you can keep an eye on our QBO Blog site. You'll learn more about our latest news and product innovations from there.

Also, I recommend visiting this website: Resource Hub. It provides you articles about managing your QBO account, income, expenses, banking, inventory, and taxes.

Please know that you can count on me if there's anything else you need. I'm cheering on your continued prosperity while using QuickBooks, @Abubaker_Osman. Keep safe always.

Thanks again,

Raymond Jay

Hi,

This does not reflect in QBO, It only change the language of browser. Neither the QB menu gets change nor QB reporting language.

Thanks for joining this conversation, @SuperStar777.

The steps shared by my colleague above should help manually change the language in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To isolate this, try to use a private browser (incognito). This will help check if the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources, causing some unusual responses.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once done, follow the same steps again to double-check. If it works, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system.

I can see how having the option to include a default Arabic language in QBO would be helpful for you and your business. I'll pass along your suggestion to our Product Developers. They're always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve the program.

In the meantime, I recommend visiting our Blog site. This is where we share recent happenings and future developments, such as updates to newly added features.

Reach out to me in the comment section below if you have any other questions or concerns, and I'll get back to you right away. I'm always here to help. Have a good one!

This doesn't help. Only changes the browser language. Please do not mislead people.

QB doesn't support Arabic language yet. You may find some 3rd party apps (e.g POS, project management, CRM) are supporting the language to integrate with QBO as a workaround.

QuickBooks in Arabic language

Hey there, @محمدعواد.

The option to select the Arabic language for QuickBooks Desktop is unavailable in the program. The language to use for this platform is for regions where it is offered.

For now, you'll have to set your own PC to a certain language (Arabic) to change your display in QBDT. I'd recommend reaching out to an IT expert to help you with the process.

Not to worry, we're taking note of your suggestions and might as well that our developers will add this option to any future product enhancements.

I would also encourage you to visit our Product Updates website to keep updated with new products and the latest happenings that our developers are currently working on.

Please know that the Community is always here to help if you have any other QuickBooks-related concerns.
