In India, The Tax Invoice sent to customers is to be either manually signed or digitally signed. I could not find any feature to sign my Invoice digitally before sending it to Customers. Pls advice, how can I sign the Sales Invoice using digital signatures.
Dear qbpankaj
With regards to your query, we would like to update you that, as of now we don't have an option for digital signature.
We have already forwarded this issue to our Product Development Team and issue has been prioritized. We will update you once the issue is resolved.
Hope this helps.

As a temporary solution, consider using an add-on to sign the invoice digitally prior sending it. Just my 2 cents.
I have an option to solve a problem in QB Online regarding GST Invoice (with sign).
Follow the below steps, it is little technical but helps you
Purpose: How to Add Signature in QuickBooks online invoice
# 1: Settings > QuickBooks Labs
#2: Import Style (Import your invoice with your sign)
#3: Select your imported style in your invoice section (Customise tab in the footer)

Hello QB Team,
Can we sign the invoice from QB digitally before emailing it to the Customer ?
Hi Venkat,
Welcome to QuickBooks Community.
We don't have this option available in QuickBooks as of now. However, we have made a note of your feedback and will forward it to the concerned team. You can also directly submit your feedback via QuickBooks by clicking the gear icon and choosing Feedback. That way, your feedback directly reaches our Product Development Team and helps us in improving your overall experience with QuickBooks.
I have been asking for this for almost 10 yeas. It blows my mind that this is not offered even as a add on. I would pay good money for it. The technology is everywhere yet this is impossible with how desktop is done for some reason. I tried to have it built and it seems to be impossible to get the correct data out and back in. We spend at least 5-6K a year on sending invoices out by snail mail because our customers want signed invoices. I have realized that Net Suite can do all of this for us for not much more that what we currently spend for mail and Quickbooks Enterprise and adding on hosting we just about end up being about the same. Oh and you get a TON more for the money. I am really getting tired of waiting for QB to do updates that really matter. I don't need more reporting, I need real features.
Hello Admin,
Thank you for your reply. I need answers to following functionalities if its available in QB Online, which is what our Company has.
a. Work Order/Release Order/Quotation - I know we need to create Forms for Work Order/Release Order/Quotations in QB. However I was wondering is there an option to upload a blank template into QB. Once uploaded we can use the blank template to input the details.
And then I also wanted a One Pager which will list all the T&C.
Can this Work Order/Release Order/Quotation be in USD currency and NOT SG$ or INR
b. Invoice to Customer - Similar to above, can I upload a blank Invoice template that I use which has the Company Logo etc, into QB and then this template can be used to raise Invoice on Customer.
Our Invoice are always in USD.
c. Can I raise Invoices based on Effort/Work completion. So if 25% work is completed then I should be able to raise Invoice for 25% of Sales Order value. Will QB send reminders saying Invoice to be raised is due?
d. Can we set up reminders in QB so that we get email alerts saying Invoice is due for payment etc.
Is the above functionality available in QB Online OR do i need to purchase another version of QB.
Appreciate if you can help me out on the above. Let me know if you need blank templates
Regards
Venkat
