Hi Team, I need your help i can't see Print check option in my Quickbooks online can you please help me how and where i can setup Print check option

Hello there, nomanghori00,

Let's check if the error is browser-related issue.Let's start with using a private window, this will not store browser cache which usually causes the error.

Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer: CTRL + Shift + P

Then, follow these steps to print a check:

  1. Click + New on the left pane.
  2. Select Print Checks.
  3. At the bottom of the page, select Print setup.
  4. Select the type of checks you have: voucher or standard.
  5. Load blank paper into your printer. You'll print on blank paper first.
  6. Select View preview and print sample, then choose the Print icon.

If it works, use your regular browser and clear its cache. This deletes the stored cache files and get a clean slate in the browser. If not, you can use other supported browsers.

I'll be right here if you need further assistance.

Hi Team, I need your help i can't see Print check option in my Quickbooks online can you please help me how and where i can setup Print check option

Hi Team,

I have problem in printing checks. When I click print check, it gives me an expense voucher and not the check. I've done some reading and they said that the print check option is only available for US and Canada versions. Is this correct? If yes, what can we do?

PS I've done using incognito browser.

Thank you.

Hello Alice27,

Thanks for joining us here! Let me share some details about the checks.

You're right! The Print check feature is unavailable to some regions. What I can suggest is to look for a third-party app that can integrate into QuickBooks Online and can print checks.

Our product team continuously updating QuickBooks to add more features that can help you and your business. Visit our QuickBooks Online Blog to see all changes and innovations.

Keep your posts coming if you need anything else. I'll be here!

Im facing the same issue - Not sure why its limited, such a simple feature but very vital.

What apps we can use? If I want to use the US or Canadian version how can I switch my account?

Hi Team, I need your help i can't see Print check option in my Quickbooks online can you please help me how and where i can setup Print check option

Let me help you get a QuickBooks Online (QBO) for Canada subscription, basenab.

When you sign up for a new account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for the Canada version, we can use the username and email address of your existing account so that the new account will be under it.

Let me walk you through the steps below:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks pricing page and select the subscription you want. Then, you’ll see one of two sign-in pages.
  2. Since you have an existing account in QuickBooks, you’ll see a page asking you to confirm the account you want to sign in under. If it’s the account you want to manage the new company with, select “Yes, that’s correct.”
  3. Fill out all the information about your new company and you’re good to go.

To find out more information about adding another company to QBO, here's an article for you: Create or add another company.

Moreover, we can easily switch our QuickBooks company from US to Canadian version if we have already created a separate account or subscription. Just go to the Gear icon of your QBO account and click Switch company. I've attached a screenshot below:

QBO also makes it easy to help you manage your company data such as subscription details, billing information, payment method, etc. To learn more, please see this link: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

I've added this link here if you need help with other tasks in QBO. Just browse for topics that fit your concern.

Feel welcome to message me if you still have questions or concerns about switching your QuickBooks account. I'm more than happy to answer them for you.
