QBO to QB Desktop Enterprise

Hi there,

I recently subscribed to QBO but decided not to use it based on reasons surrounding my business requirements in terms of customization.

I have now decided to see what Desktop Enterprise can do for me?

Question is since i paid for QBO can I use that subscription to change to Desktop Enterprise for a licence?

Appreciate any feedback.

Regards

Abraham

QBO to QB Desktop Enterprise

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @Abie059. I'll share details about the difference between the two QuickBooks programs.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a different program from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), and each of them has a separate way subscription. Thus, you cannot use the subscription you purchased for QBO to change it as a license for QBDT.

Also, QBDT is currently offered in the US region. For more information about this program, together with the complete list of functionality that is available in the system, please see these links:

For more details about subscribing, changing your subscription, or just viewing your billing history in QBO, refer to this article: Update billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

If you have additional questions about managing your QuickBooks account. I'm always around to lend a hand. Stay safe!

I have just recently subscribed, not sure if my 60 day trial is already up if it hasn't then I may have a choice to cancel or find a suitable QB product

@Abie059

Any specific requirement why do you consider using QB Desktop? You can use the trial version for QB Desktop 2021 US Pro and compare it with QB Desktop Enterprise if required.

QBO to QB Desktop Enterprise

Hi there, @Abie059.

QuickBooks Online offers a 30 day free trial. And if you cancel your subscription anytime, you can still access your account until your next billing date. To check how many days are left on your trial subscription, you can go to the Billing & subscription page.

To view this, here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. In the left menu, choose Billing & Subscription.
  4. From there, you'll see how many days are left on your free trial.

To know more about canceling your subscription, see this article: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.
