QBO Certification Information

QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification are the ones available for you to take, Abdul Rehman.

You can take the examination inside QuickBooks Online Accountant. Here’s how:

1. Go to ProAdvisor from the left menu under Your Practice. 
2. Click the Training tab. 
3. Scroll to the examination section and click the Take Exam tab. 

Currently ProAdvisor is only available in USA, Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Singapore, and India. You can use a different email to sign up for these versions of QuickBooks.

Helpful materials and courses are also available for free in the Training tab.

You'll want to sign up for QuickBooks Online Accountant first, Abdul Rehman.

The steps provided by my colleague MikiD can be found on your QBOA account. On the first link, click the Sign up for free. Follow through the sign up process.

Then, follow the steps above to review the training course, and take your exam.

On sign up - it prompts that your email ID is already registered - and gives Sign In option.

And on Sign In - it moves me to my trial version main menu/dashboard.

QuickBooks Online Accountant is only available in these following regions:

• United States
• Australia
• Canada
• United Kingdom
• Singapore
• South Africa
• India

You're prompted to sign in since the system recognized your account from Pakistan. You can sign up to any region using a different email address.

Note that you can't add clients from Pakistan on your QBOA. You can only add clients of the same region associated with your QBOA account.

I do apologize if making mistake in getting you. 

Means users working on international version can't do the certification :(

Or have to enter dummy data for sign up - just as formality.

The examination can be found in the ProAdvisor tab in QuickBooks Online for Accountant. Since the product is not available in your location, you might want to use any of these regions:

• United States
• Australia
• Canada
• United Kingdom
• Singapore
• South Africa
• India

Once you have the Accountant QuickBooks, follow the steps below to take the exam:

1. Select ProAdvisor under Your Practice.
2. Go to Training tab.
3. Click Take Exam.

Is there any plan to have QBO for Nigeria or Ghana anytime soon? What are the conditions to be met to have country specific version of QBO?

Due to the declined users, QuickBooks Online (QBO) is not yet available for some countries in the world. If the QBO plan is unavailable in your region, you can use the closest version and just make customization for your taxes and inline it to the corresponding requirements.
