Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get your VAT Liability report working, accounts471.
There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full of frequent access to web pages or damaged. This prevents you from running reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To better isolate this issue, try signing in to your QBO using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:
Then, try running the VAT Liability report by following the steps in the Check how much sales tax you owe in QuickBooks Online article. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime collection of data can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. You can also use supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
If the same thing happens, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue. Here's how:

Hi, was advised last weekend that this is a known issue and to get my name added to case INV-57948 for updates.
So far only update has been that they are still working on it
Yes I am also waiting a week for this to be fixed, and Bi-Monthly VAT return is due.
Would be great if someone could give us an update is this going to be sorted in the coming days or will it be a long term problem.

It took less time to evacuate Chernobyl. Some useful updates would be helpful. We are seriously considering changing provider. In the meantime I will have to provide an estimate to revenue which isn't ideal.
Hi Accounts471,
Not sure if it helps but I cobbled something together for Revenue by exporting the Vat Detail reports and Excel.
Either way, you are right, shouldn't be taking this long with no updates at all.
Thanks for this. I'll give it a try.
I've been waiting a month. Still not working. A proper update would be appreciated for this and other subscribers. Quite frankly, it's not good enough.
