Has anybody else noticed that Times no longer works in their custom font templates? My old templates are broken and new ones convert to Courier.

I've tried multiple tests with Times and Times New Roman, nothing works.
Old templates show it now as heavily slopped and condensed Helvetica and new test templates show it up as Courier.
The standard QB templates show Times seems to work fine but I don't want to use those.

Thanks for visiting the Community, @nykke

The new test templates default font as you open it is set to Courier. You can select the font style of your choice in the Design tab, then check out how your actual template look and feel by clicking the Preview PDF. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings icon at the top right.
  2. Select the Custom Form Style under Your Company.
  3. You can select the New Style to create a test template or Edit an existing template.
  4. Go to the Design tab, then select a font in the Select a different font drop-down.
  5. Click Preview PDF at the bottom.

If it doesn't work on your end, I'd recommend using an incognito or a private window as most of the unexpected behavior is caused by a browser-related issue.

Thank you but I have used a different browser and it occurs the same way.

I've attached a screenshot. The strongly slanted version is any old invoice template. The Courier version is what happens when I create a new one using EZ keys.

Also, I am using my own Imported Style, not QB templates.

Hi nykke,

This does not seem to be intended behaviour in QuickBooks. I recommend you contact our Support Team so they can help you investigate this further.

To do this:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.

  2. Select Help (?) at the top right.

  3. Under Need support? select Contact us to connect with a live support agent.

Alternatively you can get in contact with one of our support representatives by phoning 1800 046 038. Our line is open 8:30am - 6:30pm Mon - Fri.
